The function GetLink returns the URL of a category or an article, in consideration of an optional forced template.

function GetLink ($sCategory="",$sArticle="", $sTemplate="")

The function GetLink returns the URL of a passed category $sCategory or of an article $sArticle.

$sCategory can be both a complete category path – for instance in the format "/products/hardware/something" and a category name or an internal category number (ID).

$sArticle can be either the headline of an article or an internal article number (ID).

The parameter $sTemplate is optional and defines the template, which is to be used. If $sTemplate is not used, the template responsible for the category resp. the article or a standard template is used. For this reason, also in case of a link to an article, $sCategory should always be specified, so that the suitable template can be identified.

In order to output a URL, the sister function GetLink should be used.
