Logo Exchange and your own Jumppoint Page

The Portalsuite 2002 provides various options for providers and advertising agencies to establish a closer relationship to their end customers.

But we point at the fact that the exchange of graphic files, PHP files and other data files of the Portalsuite 2002 may cause the Portalsuite 2002 to malfunction. The most important data are protected against exchange and manipulation by checksums. If one file is altered, any login is impossible !

Therefore please restrict to the files and options mentioned in the following in order to ensure a sound operation:

Logo Exchange
Normally the Portunity logo is shown top right in the Admin Center, in the Content Manager and in the Reseller Center. The Portalsuite allows to exchange the logo top right for your own logo. Thereto there is a global configuration variable defined in the registration data base in the Reseller Center named „ProviderLogo“, which contains the complete or the relative URL of a graphic file.

In order to change the logo firstly create a graphic file and deposit it at an accessible web address. Your logo graphic should not exceed a maximum width of 100 pixels and a maximum height of 70 pixels ! In order to simplify the integration regarding the colour gradient, you find a file named „companylogo-no.jpg“ in the Portalsuite directory /global/images. This graphic file contains a gradient background which corresponds exactly with the Portalsuite’s gradient, so that you can place your logo optimal onto the gradient (Tip: affix top right !).
Afterwards log on into the Portalsuite 2002 Reseller Center, call the „global variables editor“, edit the variable „ProviderLogo“ and exchange the URL.

Other logos (e. g.: in login areas) cannot be exchanged and are protected by checksums.

Your own Jumppoint Page
The Jumppoint overview page with the link to the several Portunity applications is merely a default layout and a basis for your own version. You can adapt, alter or replace the page completely, according to your needs.

In the root directory of the Portalsuite 2002 you find a index.html file. This HTML file merely contains a meta refresh which forwards the visitor to the relative URL „/jumppoint/soft/jumppoint.php“. In order to include your own page you only have to define it as HTML file, store it somewhere and adapt the address in the HTML file in the meta refresh.
Hints on the linkage:
- The Content Manager is accessible via the subdirectory „/content“
- The Admin Center is accessible via the subdirectory „/admin“
- The Reseller Center is accessible via the subdirectory „/reseller“

Another option is to refer visitors calling the Portalsuite 2002-domain to your home page and to integrate the Content Manager and / or the Admin Center there per link.
