There are many very different and multifaceted applications.

A quite uncomplex application is content purchasing and the integration into your own website. Meanwhile there are some companies and agencies providing edited sectoral news which you can license. A mixture of your own and of purchased sectoral news warrantees an up-to-date company homepage.

Another application is – for instance – to set up a second product site on the internet, in addition to your existing comprehensive company homepage, for a special product. Actually all articles are not just available on the company homepage as well, but can also be edited centrally with the CMS of the company homepage. Pictures can be integrated as file attachment and links are recognized automatically. Set a special mail address news@mydomain.com and let the Portalsuite check this mail address and import mails from it regularly. No matter if you have got just one category „in box“ or if you release incoming e-mails directly as news, henceforth you can use your mail client as an article and news editor. This is very handy especially on the intranet since actually every employee can contribute to topics or forward an interesting message to the intranet. The combination with newsletters results in further applications. Different categories can be activated comfortably with several e-mail addresses.

Some companies and customers use the powerful Portalsuite 2002 networking capabilities as well to act not just as provider and agency, but also as content supplier in the vertical market. Those companies provide their customers with web space, domains, traffic, with the Portalsuite and with a continuously updated homepage, at all-inclusive prices. The customer can choose from dozens of sectoral news channels, by what every page does not receive the same news later. The central content server of the provider, an Enterprise portal, operated with the Portalsuite, is often connected with hundreds of customer portals and websites, providing them with current specific news.
