Introduction
The content networking functionality allows to deallocate categories in a portal.
Therewith the corresponding portal becomes a portal server. Now the deallocations can be mounted from any other portal. Hence the articles and contents of the source portal are also available on the target portal.
The deallocations can be secured by code words and different clearance levels. Foreign contents which have been blend onto a portal via mounted categories are marked in the Content Manager correspondingly.
The content networking functions are perfectly suited for making static content groups available to several portals. If the source article is altered, the altered article is automatically available at call via the target portals as well – instantly - since there is just one stored and saved article (on the source portal).
Presently the deallocation levels are not yet available in the Portalsuite 2002 again ! They will be implemented in one of the following versions. Please note respective information and announcements on the Portunity websites.
