Test of the Optimisation for Search Engines

After all these preparations, adaptations of important articles and categories, template amendments and the activation of the rewriting rules on the web server, you should take the time to test your website before registration.

At first you should confirm that the rewriting rules are activated and work properly ! To do so, choose different articles and categories of your website and watch the URL and status indicator of your browser.
Afterwards you should check the meta information in the source code at least within the main categories and most important articles and perform, as the case may be, final corrections. In case certain search engines are especially important to you, you can search for further special meta tags on these engines and deposit those tags manually into the HTML head area of your templates.
